Who we are

Our story began in culinary school, where flour, butter, and long hours in the kitchen brought us together. Fourteen years later, we’re still cooking side-by-side, now with two kids cheering us on from home here in Frederick.

Even though we live in the Mid-Atlantic, our roots are Southern through and through. We grew up on scratch kitchens, cast iron skillets, and biscuits made with love. That tradition is at the heart of The Sifted Biscuit.

Every biscuit we make is hand-kneaded, layered with butter, and baked to golden, flaky perfection. What started as a shared passion has turned into a dream, one we hope will grow far beyond our local community so everyone can taste what Southern comfort really means.
